Now, when you look at the Glock 17 Gen 4, you’ll notice the texturing is a little bit better than the Gen 3, but it is not as good as the aggressive texture on the Gen 5. Those are rare though so I wouldn’t put that in high… I wouldn’t say it’s all that likely you’ll find one. The Gen 3 texturing is very slick unless you’re lucky enough to get an RTF2 finish Glock. Now, texturing is different on all of the three different current Glock production pistols. The Glock Gen 3 has no modularity whatsoever, so you’re stuck with the grip as it is.
